Национальный совет по вопросам экономического развития
Организация в Великобритании, которая функционировала в период с 1962 по 1992 г. и занималась разработкой мер по улучшению экономической ситуации в стране. Организация представляла собой агентство по планированию экономической деятельности с учетом интересов государства, промышленности, управленческих структур и профсоюзов. Перед ним стояла задача преодоления препятствий на пути достижения эффективности производства и экономического роста. В восьмидесятые годы, когда консервативное правительство М. Тэтчер стало проводить политику невмешательства и избегать переговоров с представителями профсоюзов, роль Совета заметно снизилась.
